God loves you and has a plan for you!

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, [Jesus Christ], that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.“ (John 3:16).

 

For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

 

No matter what has happened in your life, mistakes, wrong decisions… God has been leading you to Himself.  Your hope and your future are found in Him.

The Problem is that man is sinful, and falls short of the honor and glory of God. (Romans 3:23) Every person has done wrong things and messed up.  The result of sin is death, an eternal separation from God.

​

The Good News

… the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

 

God sent His Son, Jesus to die for your sins! Jesus died in our place so that we can have a relationship with God, our Father. We didn’t deserve this gift and we can’t earn it.  Salvation comes by the grace of God, by having faith in His Son, Jesus. 

 

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

 

The Good News does not end with Jesus' death on the cross.  He was buried and then resurrected!  He rose to life again and is coming back for us.  (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

How Can You Receive This Gift?

You believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He lived a sinless life, died for your sins and rose from the dead. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and turn away from sin. 

 

Prayer

Dear God,

I know that I have sinned.  Today I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Jesus, come and live in my heart, I surrender my life to You.  Forgive me of my sins.  Wash me with your blood and set me free.  Jesus, thank You that You died for me. I believe that You are risen from the dead and that You’re coming back again for me. I receive by faith the gift of salvation.  Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me a passion for the lost, a hunger for the things of God and a holy boldness to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a new person. I am free from the power of sin.  I’m saved; I’m born again, I’m forgiven and I’m on my way to Heaven because I have Jesus in my heart.  Amen!

 

Welcome to the Family!

When you asked Jesus to come into your heart and to forgive you, He heard you and did so.  All of your sins are now forgiven.  This is just the beginning.  God loves you very much and has a great plan for your life. 

 

To help you begin to walk out that great plan you will want to find a local church that preaches the Word of God with power and demonstration.  God has so much that He wants to teach you through His Word, so if you don’t have a Bible, you will want to get one.  Read your Bible daily and be sure to pray and talk to God.  He loves you and wants to have fellowship with you.
